Adult Day Programs offer support for those living with dementia and other cognitive impairments

Whitby, Ontario – Adults who require support – including adults living with cognitive impairments such as dementia – can participate in the Adult Day Programs for supervised therapeutic, social and recreational programming. The Adult Day Programs offer socialization, well-being and quality of life, while providing caregivers and family members with a break for some personal time.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Thornton Road North (RR 52), in the City of Oshawa.

When: April 8 to 19. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Northbound and southbound lane restrictions on Thornton Road North, 100 metres north of Deer Valley Drive to 210 metres south of Deer Valley Drive, in the City of Oshawa.

Whitby, Ontario – As of March 1, Durham Region has moved from the customer self-assessment (TeleRead) water meter card program to all water meter readings by Meter Readers.

The Region is using radio frequency (RF) or touchpad enabled water meters to collect water usage data without entering homes.
