Lane restrictions on Lake Ridge Road in the Township of Brock

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in the Township of Brock.
When: Most of the work will take place between September 29 until the end of November 2025, with the final road paving work to take place in 2026. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: Lake Ridge Road from north of Regional Highway 48 to 200 metres north of Thorah Park Boulevard in the Township of Brock.

Whitby, Ontario – On September 26, 2025, the Region of Durham is hosting a walk in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Date and time: September 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon
Event details: The event will begin with participants meeting in the Lower Galleria of Regional Headquarters (605 Rossland Road East, Whitby, south entrance off Garden Street) at 10 a.m. to hear speakers, watch Indigenous drumming and participate in a smudge.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of impacts to Regional programs and services on September 30 in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
When and Where: On Tuesday, September 30, the following programs and/or services will be impacted:

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is inviting the public to attend an in-person Public Information Centre (PIC) for the Bicycle Parking Guidelines Project. The Bicycle Parking Guidelines strive to provide guidance on ways to make bike parking more convenient, secure and well-designed at busy public places throughout the region.
