Join the fun: National Public Works Week event on May 23!

Durham Region residents are invited to take part in our free, fun-filled community event on Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and discover the many services provided by the Works Department as we celebrate National Public Works Week (NPWW).

Activities include children’s activities, a tour of the services provided at the depot, a chance to try our heavy equipment simulator, information booths and our always popular Touch-a-Truck. New additions to the activities this year include face painting and an ice cream truck!
