Uxbridge member vacancy on the Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee (DECAC)

Whitby, Ontario – The Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee (DECAC) is seeking an Uxbridge resident to join the committee and help shape the future of environmental and climate action in Durham Region.

DECAC advises Durham Regional Council about environmental and climate change matters affecting Durham.

Who Can Apply? To be eligible for the position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Reside in the Township of Uxbridge.
2. Have a strong interest in environmental matters. Academic qualifications or work experience in environmental and climate-related disciplines, such as energy, housing, transportation and conservation will be considered an asset.
3. Available to attend monthly, evening DECAC meetings.
