Applications are open for the CSWB Fund: Building Safer Communities Grants Program

Whitby, Ontario – In partnership with Public Safety Canada, Durham Region has opened applications for the Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Fund: Building Safer Communities Grants program, to support small, not-for-profit organizations and community groups with violence prevention projects in Durham Region communities.

Applications to receive funding should be in alignment with, and further the goals and implementation of, the Durham Region CSWB Plan and the Durham Region Strategic Plan.

At Home Incentive Program offers support to develop affordable rental housing

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is accepting applications for the At Home Incentive Program (AHIP), which provides funding support and Regional planning services to develop affordable rental housing in Durham Region. This year, $5.5 million in funding is available through the AHIP.

Whitby, Ontario – The Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee (DECAC) has extended the nomination deadline for the 2023 Environmental Achievement Awards, celebrating environmental excellence for projects completed after January 1, 2021.
