Applications are open for the CSWB Fund: Building Safer Communities Grants Program

Whitby, Ontario – In partnership with Public Safety Canada, Durham Region has opened applications for the Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Fund: Building Safer Communities Grants program, to support small, not-for-profit organizations and community groups with violence prevention projects in Durham Region communities.
Applications to receive funding should be in alignment with, and further the goals and implementation of, the Durham Region CSWB Plan and the Durham Region Strategic Plan.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Rossland Road (Regional Road 28) in the Town of Whitby.
When: September 26 to October 27. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

At Home Incentive Program offers support to develop affordable rental housing

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is accepting applications for the At Home Incentive Program (AHIP), which provides funding support and Regional planning services to develop affordable rental housing in Durham Region. This year, $5.5 million in funding is available through the AHIP.
