Durham Regional Council approves 2024 water and sanitary sewer user rates

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Regional Council has approved the 2024 water supply and sanitary sewer user rates, with a combined increase of 4.9 per cent, plus 2.5 per cent for impacts of Ontario Bill 23, More Homes Built Faster Act, 2022, Ontario Bill 134, Affordable Homes and Goods Jobs Act, 2023 and related provincial legislation. Durham Region seeking input to assist in development of new 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is developing a new 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan; a document that will set out strategic direction and actions for housing and homelessness for the next 10 years.

To assist in the development of this important plan, we are seeking input from community members, via an online survey. Your input is important to this process. Please take a moment to share your personal experiences and ideas. All feedback will be reviewed and taken into consideration.
