Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham has released a new Early Learning and Child Care Service Plan to support families, and the early learning and child care community in Durham region, into 2027.

Simcoe Street north and south bound lanes closed in Oshawa due to watermain break

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a watermain break along Simcoe Street North in Oshawa. North and south bound lanes on Simcoe Street North, between Aberdeen Street and Connaught Street, are currently closed until further notice.
When: From January 18, until the repair is complete.
Where: Simcoe Street North, from Aberdeen Street and Connaught Street, in the city of Oshawa.
Why: To safely repair the watermain break.
