Temporary road closure on Bowmanville Avenue in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of an upcoming temporary road closure on Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) in Clarington.
When: August 7 at 8 p.m. to August 8 at 6 a.m. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: Bowmanville Avenue will be temporarily closed from Byers Road to Concession Road 10 in Clarington.
Why: This work is the part of the construction to replace the Burketon Station bridge over the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railway.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents and businesses in Beaverton, Cannington, Sunderland, Uxbridge, Port Perry, Orono, Blackstock and Greenbank of mandatory water restrictions during the extreme hot weather.
