Fog Testing in the Madawaska SPS Catchment Area

The Regional Municipality of Durham is working with Civica Infrastructure on an Inflow and Infiltration (I/I) Reduction study. The study’s objectives are to identify sources of rainwater entering the sanitary sewers and develop a plan to reduce these flows.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Regional Road 1 (Concession Road 7) in the Township of Uxbridge.

When: April 14 to July 9, 2025. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Regional Road 1 (Concession Road 7), between Regional Road 13 and Foster Drive, in Uxbridge.

Upcoming lane restrictions on Winchester Road in the Town of Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Winchester Road (Regional Road 3) in the Town of Whitby. 

Where: Winchester Road, from Durham Street/Chelmsford Drive to east of Watford Street/Anderson Street, in Whitby.

When: The contractor will re-mobilize April 7, 2025, with scheduled completion by late summer 2025. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Why: To safely rehabilitate and widen Winchester Road.
