Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Health Department is notifying the community of a potential measles exposure at a local area church. The case is from outside of Durham Region but visited this church while contagious.

Durham Region is reminding drivers to leave at least one metre of space between their vehicle and bicycles or e-bikes on the road to help keep riders safe.
Motorists may cross the centre line to pass a cyclist if it is safe and legal. Otherwise, they must wait behind the cyclist until it is safe to pass.
