Road closure on 3rd Concession Road (future Peter Matthews Drive) in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on 3rd Concession Road (future Peter Matthews Drive) in the City of Pickering.
When: January 15 to summer 2025. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: 3rd Concession Road (future Peter Matthews Drive) between Clearside Court and Valley Farm Road.
Why: Bridge construction, road widening and reconstruction of 3rd Concession Road to a four-lane roadway with multi-use path.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region’s Black History Month celebration, Together We Rise Durham: Black History, Intersectionality and Joy, returns on February 1, in-person, at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex in Pickering.

Whitby, Ontario – Residents are invited to join Durham Region’s Chief Administrative Officer, Commissioner of Finance and Treasurer and other members of the Region’s senior leadership team, at the virtual 2024 Budget Town Hall.
When: Thursday, January 11 at 6:30 p.m.
