Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham, in partnership with Durham Regional Local Housing Corporation (DRLHC) and Infrastructure Ontario, is revitalizing two DRLHC properties located at Malaga Road and Christine Crescent in the City of Oshawa. Automated speed enforcement continues to improve road safety

Speed is a contributing factor in approximately one-third of fatal collisions. Reducing speed is the best way to reduce both the frequency and severity of collisions in our community.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham will be opening 1635 Dundas Street East in winter 2024 as a low barrier shelter for people experiencing homelessness. The Region has selected Christian Faith Outreach Centre (CFOC) as the service operator for 1635 Dundas Street East, through a comprehensive Expression of Interest process.
