Whitby, Ontario – Businesses in Durham Region should expect a knock on their door this spring/summer, as part of an annual Regional project to gather employment statistics and build a stronger local economy. The Regional Municipality of Durham, Planning and Economic Development Department, is conducting its sixth Business Count—a survey of local businesses that gathers statistics about their operations.

Whitby, Ontario – Today, at Regional Council, City of Oshawa Regional Councillor Doug Sanders completed his Declaration of Office and became a member of Durham Regional Council.
