Port Perry residents asked to conserve water during the completion of a watermain connection

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is asking residents using the Port Perry municipal water supply to practise additional water conservation efforts as the Works Department connects the recently installed watermain along Scugog Line 3. The new watermain will improve water supply for residents.

Whitby, Ontario– In honour of Education Savings Week (November 13 to 20), the Region of Durham is reminding eligible residents to apply for the Canada Learning Bond to help save for post-secondary school.
Eligible families in Durham Region can receive up to $2,000 from the Government of Canada for their child’s post-secondary education. The benefit is deposited directly into a Registered Education Savings Plan for the child.

Road closure on Thorah Concession Road 5 in Brock

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Thorah Concession Road 5 in the Township of Brock.
When: The closure is from November 7 to December 9. The entire construction project is anticipated to be completed by mid-July 2023. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Thorah Concession Road 5, from Cedar Beach Road to Murray Street, in the Township of Brock.
