Apply to join Durham Region’s Accessibility Advisory Committee
Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is seeking applications to join the Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC). Individuals who have a family member with a disability are encouraged to apply.
Individuals should be passionate about creating an inclusive and accessible region.
About the AAC
The AAC advises Regional Council through the Finance & Administration Committee on the preparation, implementation and review of the multi-year accessibility plan and other accessibility-related priorities within the Region. The committee’s work is guided by Council-approved Terms of Reference.
Eligibility
- Applicants must live or work in Durham Region.
- Individuals must have a family member with a disability.
