Celebrate Pride with Youth Pride Durham
Whitby, Ontario – Youth Pride Durham is back on Saturday, June 13. Everyone is invited to take part in this free friendly and inclusive event for 2SLGBTQI+ children, youth, families, and allies, as we honour diversity, strengthen connections, and highlight the supports available across Durham Region.
The Resource Village
The event’s Resource Village will feature local organizations and agencies sharing information about programs and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and build community in a welcoming space.
Activities for everyone
Attendees can also enjoy a full lineup of activities, including:
- Live drag performances.
- A DJ spinning upbeat music.
- Face painting.
- A magic show.
- Cotton Candy and popcorn.
- Food vendors.

Time: 1 to 4 p.m.
Location: The Region of Durham Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby. The event will take place in the southeast parking lot. Complimentary parking is available onsite – please enter from Rossland Road East.
Bring a non-perishable food donation
Youth Pride Durham is also proud to support Durham Alliance Outreach, the region’s only food pantry prioritizing the needs of 2SLGBTQI+ community members. Bring a bring a non‑perishable food donation to help strengthen local food security.
This event is hosted by Durham Children’s Aid Society and The Regional Municipality of Durham. Partners include the City of Oshawa, the City of Pickering, Durham District School Board, Durham Regional Police Service, the Municipality of Clarington, the Town of Ajax and the Town of Whitby.
