The chemicals used in scented products and fragrances can make some people sick. All employees and visitors are asked to refrain from using or bringing scented products into the workplace or regional facilities. Wearing added fragrances, such as perfume, cologne or body spray, to regional facilities is not permitted.

The Region has endorsed a policy of purchasing scent-reduced and environmentally friendly products, where possible.
