Dining Domes at Deer Creek
Ever dined in a dome? Enjoy an unforgettable winter experience in the heated Dining Domes at Deer Creek in Ajax—located on the restaurant patio and surrounded by beautiful twinkling lights. Each of the six domes are heated and can accommodate up to six guests. Plus, there are even dog-friendly domes! Indulge in delicious dishes like dim sum, steak frites or butternut squash ravioli. The menu is unique to the domes, and differs from Jerry's Taphouse located indoors. The experience is $59 per person, and includes one drink, an entree, and an unforgettably cozy experience. If you’ve got room for dessert, the sticky toffee pudding is not to be slept on! Outdoor dining domes are limited. If December 31 reservations are full by the time you're reading this, don't worry! You can enjoy this unique outdoor dining experience until mid-March. Kids eat free with a paying adult.
Country Night NYE at Trail Hub
This New Year’s Eve, Trail Hub in Uxbridge is transforming its iconic Country Night into a signature year-end event. Set against the forested backdrop from the highest point in the GTA, the evening blends the warmth of bonfires and the energy of live music with a polished New Year’s Eve atmosphere. The night will feature a full-stage performance by Devin Cooper and Mariya Stokes, two of Canada’s most exciting emerging voices in contemporary country. This is an intimate, up-close concert experience paired with celebration, dancing, cocktails, and a midnight toast beneath the night sky. Guests can also enjoy an elevated New Year’s Eve menu and curated cocktail specials as they watch the New York City countdown and ball drop broadcast all night long, live on the big screen.
Boots & Bubbly NYE at Ajax Convention Centre
Break out your dancing boots and come sip some bubbly at the Ajax Convention Centre’s New Years Eve Celebration! Enjoy a full night of live entertainment from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. , including hor d'oeurves, a gourmet four-course dinner with wine, and a deluxe bar. There will be dining, dancing, party favours, a photobooth, and a sparkling midnight toast as you countdown to the new year! Indulge in charcuterie and hors d’oeuvres to start the evening and end it with crepes and a late night buffet. Tickets are $165 per guest or $1500 per table of 10 (includes tax). Contact the Ajax Convention Centre to purchase your tickets before they sell out.

In the grand British tradition where audiences cheer the hero and boo the villian, Hook shifts the focus of the timeless classic Peter Pan to focus on our anti-hero, the one and only Captain Hook! This professional production will feature flashy musical numbers, outrageous costumes, comedy, magic, mayhem and of course... your part of the show! Come and boo the villian (who is that exactly?), cheer the hero, and have a holiday blast with your family or friends! We promise you'll be "hooked"! This show is recommended for all ages and will include ASL interpretation.
Comedy Night At Volt Raceway
Ring in 2026 with non stop laughter and good vibes at Volt Raceway's New Years Eve 2026 Comedy Show! Comedy Nuggets brings you an unforgettable New Year’s Eve night of stand-up comedy featuring some of Canada’s funniest comedians, live on stage. Enjoy back-to-back shows with performances at 8 and 10:30 p.m. and expect four acts that are guaranteed to keep you laughing. Celebrate in Scugog
Skate the day away at the outdoor Scugog Lakefront Skate and Market! Weather permitting, you can enjoy a whole day of fun by the lake—grab a hot chocolate and shop local artisans from the market, before lacing up your skates and heading on the ice. Located in the Joe Fowler north ball diamond, the outdoor rink and vendor village provides a unique and extended pleasure skating experience with food and artisan market right in the heart of downtown. The holiday market runs on weekends from November 29 to December 21 (with a return for Family Day 2026), but skating is available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, grab some goodies from The Trading Post Quality Foods and head home or to your nearby accommodations for the countdown.

Join the City of Oshawa and Oshawa Public Library for a free family-friendly New Year’s Celebration in Oshawa on December 31 at the Delpark Homes Centre! Kick off 2026 with a free family friendly event with swimming, skating, animal displays, inflatable amusements, and live entertainment. This indoor event promises a lively evening filled with fun activities for all ages.
Join Pickering’s New Year's Eve Family Countdown at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex on December 31 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy free swimming and skating for all ages, along with music, crafts, games and more. Enjoy a memorable mid-evening countdown, marking the beginning of the new year with a balloon drop at 8:30 p.m.
Celebrate the start of the new year at Ajax’s Family New Year's Eve Party from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Ajax Community Centre! Enjoy a fantastic event for the whole family with arts and crafts, interactive activities and something for everyone.
