Applications are being accepted for Appointment to Regional Advisory Committees

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the following committees:  

• Accessibility Advisory Committee 

• Durham Active Transportation Committee 

• Durham Agricultural Advisory Committee 

• Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Table 

• Durham Region Anti-Racism Taskforce 

• Durham Region Transit Advisory Committee 

• Energy from Waste – Waste Management Advisory Committee 

What: The Region of Durham has several advisory boards and committees, whose members are appointed by Regional Council. Qualified applicants are selected in accordance with the process specified in the terms of reference for each board and committee. Applicants must be a resident of Durham Region, an employee of a business operating in Durham Region, or the owner of a property in Durham Region.
