Celebrate a decade of DRIFF: Limited festival passes on sale August 15

Whitby, Ontario – The Durham Region International Film Festival (DRIFF) returns in October, and this year there is even more to celebrate as DRIFF marks 10 years of bringing filmmakers and audiences together. A limited number of all-access Festival Passes go on sale August 15, giving film lovers an opportunity to be part of this milestone year before the official lineup is announced.

What: The three-day DRIFF Festival Pass grants access to all events for $35 (plus applicable fees), a special pre-program offer that saves festivalgoers $20.

When: The DRIFF Festival Pass is available to purchase from August 15 to September 14 only. DRIFF’s 10th anniversary film lineup and program will be revealed September 15, ahead of the festival celebration from October 22 to 24.

Where: Festival Passes will be available for purchase through Eventbrite.

  The DRIFF lineup will be screened across three locations:

§ October 22: The Centennial Building, Whitby

§ October 23: St. Francis Centre, Ajax

§       October 24: Biltmore Theatre, Oshawa

Why: DRIFF, with support from Film Durham (the Durham Region Film Commission), champions Durham’s filmmaking talent, welcomes filmmakers from around the world and showcases Durham Region as a vibrant destination for film and creativity. Festivalgoers enjoy shorts and feature-length screenings, filmmaker Q&As, red carpet photo opportunities, a local culinary showcase, behind-the-scenes workshops, live music, and the annual awards ceremony.
