Have your say on the proposed roundabout in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is proposing to construct a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Brock Road (Regional Road 1) and Goodwood Road (Regional Road 21) in the Township of Uxbridge.

When and Where: The public information package with the project background and preliminary design can be reviewed at durham.ca/BrockGoodwoodRoundabout. Comments are requested by June 1.

Why: The project includes converting the intersection into a roundabout and adding an eastbound truck climbing lane. These improvements are anticipated to enhance long-term traffic flow, reduce delays and improve safety for all road users.
