Lane restrictions on Bowmanville Avenue, Durham Regional Highway 2 and Stevens Road in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57), Durham Regional Highway 2 and Stevens Road in the Municipality of Clarington.  

When: August 31 to September 30. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.   

Where: Lane restrictions will be in place in the following locations: 

• Intersection of Bowmanville Avenue and Regional Highway 2 to 200 metres north of Stevens Road. 

• 400 metres north of Stevens to 300 metres north of Nash Road.  

Why: To safely complete road rehabilitation and paving.  

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
