Lane restrictions on Liverpool Road Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of lane restrictions on Liverpool Road (Regional Road 29) in the City of Pickering.  

When: Ongoing until December. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.   

Where: The southbound curb lane will be restricted on Liverpool Road (Regional Road 29) from the 401 off ramp (Walnut Lane extension) to Pickering Parkway in Pickering. The work will also impact the intersection of Pickering Parkway and Liverpool Road throughout the project.  

Why: To safely complete road widening, traffic signal modifications and work on the turn lanes in support of new development. 

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
