Lane restrictions on Regional Road 57 in the Township of Scugog

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of lane restrictions on Regional Road 57 in the Township of Scugog.

When: Ongoing until the end of July 2026.

Where: 70 metres south of Shirley Road (Regional Road 19) to 700 metres north of Edgerton Road in the Township of Scugog.

Why: To safely repave Regional Road 57, along with the construction of new road shoulders and replacement of steel guide rails.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
