Lane restrictions on Regional Road 8 in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Regional Road 8 in the Township of Uxbridge.

When: September 11 to 27. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Regional Road 8, between Owen Road and Concession 6, in Uxbridge.

Why: To safely complete emergency bank stabilization.

Note: During the day, Regional Road 8 will be reduced to one lane with traffic control on-site. During the night the roadway will be opened to two lanes.

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
