Lane restrictions on Salem Road North in Ajax

This PSA has been updated to reflect the latest information

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Salem Road North (Regional Road 41) in the Town of Ajax.

When: May 20 to July 15. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: On Salem Road at the most northerly Blowers Crescent connection, 150 metres north and south of this intersection.

Why: To extend an existing culvert and install a centre median north and south of the intersection.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
