Lane restrictions on Shirley Road in the Township of Scugog

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of lane restrictions on Shirley Road (Regional Road 19) in the Township of Scugog.

When: Ongoing until the end of May 2026.

Where: Starting 50 metres west of Old Scugog Road to 35 metres west of Regional Road 57 in the Township of Scugog.

Why: To safely complete road rehabilitation.  

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
