Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Shore Line Road (Regional Road 47) in the Township of Brock.

When: November 9 to 30. Additional work will occur in 2027. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Lane restrictions will be in effect on Shore Line Road, from Mara Road to the Durham Region/Simcoe County Boundary, in the Township of Brock.

Why: Lane restrictions will be in place for culvert replacements and ditching on Shore Line Road. A full road closure of Shore Line Road will be required for work near the Canadian National Railway crossing in 2027. Notice of this closure will be provided ahead of time.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
