Lane restrictions on Simcoe Street South in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street South (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa.

When: July 29 to August 16. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Simcoe Street South, from Olive Avenue (Regional Road 59) to Avenue Street, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: The lane restrictions will be in place for the safe installation of new water service in support of new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
