Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa.

When: October 26 to November 20. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Simcoe Street North, from Glovers Road to Niagara Drive, in Oshawa. A minimum of one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.

Why: To allow for the relocation of Enbridge Gas infrastructure in preparation for a pending Region capital works project.

Note: Enbridge realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
