Durham Region is one of the fastest growing areas in the Greater Toronto Area, and Durham Region Transit (DRT) is growing along with it.

As DRT's Route Ahead Strategy enters it's final year, DRT is charting the network's evolution with the Route Ahead 2030: Five-Year Service Strategy. This next phase sets the course for how our transit network will grow through 2030 and beyond.

As part of this strategy, DRT is developing Local Area Transit Plans for two key growth areas:

  • Seaton in Pickering
  • Brooklin and north Oshawa.

Join us at upcoming Public Information Centres (PICs) and Local Area Transit Plan sessions across the region. Your input will help shape how transit service grows and adapts in these communities as we move forward with Route Ahead 2030.

We want to hear from you. For more information and schedule visit the PICs and Local Area Transit Plan page on DRT's website.
