Road closure on Zephyr Road in the Township of Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of a road closure on Zephyr Road (Regional Road 13) to replace the Laurie Bridge, in the Township of Uxbridge.

When: May 4 to November 30, 2026.

Where: Road closure will be in place from Concession Road 5 to Concession Road 6, in the Township of Uxbridge.

Why: To safely replace the Laurie Bridge, install a new guide rail system, new pavement markings and complete landscaping.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
