Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) through the development of a comprehensive strategy that reflects the diverse voices of our communities.
What: Durham Region is working with a third party consultant to create a comprehensive DEI Strategy.
When: Community engagement sessions will be planned for the fall.

Why: The development of the DEI Strategy builds on previous DEI efforts and aligns with the Region’s ongoing commitment to fostering equitable services and an inclusive community.
