Upcoming lane restrictions on Brock Road in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Brock Road (Regional Road 1), in the City of Pickering.

When: July 2 through August 15. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Brock Road, from Central Street to 1 kilometre north of Central Street, in Pickering.

Why: To allow for the installation of a storm sewer on Brock Road, to support future development. These restrictions ensure the safety of the public and construction workers.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of work crews.
