Upcoming lane restrictions on Dundas Street East, Whitby

Whitby, Ontario - Durham Region is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Dundas Street East in the Town of Whitby.

Where: Westbound lane restrictions on Dundas Street East from Anderson Street to 70 metres east of Anderson Street, Whitby.

When: August 31 to September 4, 2026, during the day. Unfavourable weather conditions may affect the work schedule.

Why: To safely disconnect a water service in support of new development.

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
