Upcoming lane restrictions on Regional Road 8 in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Regional Road 8 in the Township of Uxbridge. 

When: June 29 to July 13. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Lane restrictions will be in place on Regional Road 8 at Siloam Bridge, between Concession Road 2 and Concession Road 3, in Uxbridge. 

Why: To safely complete the final road surface paving and grading following the replacement of the bridge last year. Drivers should expect delays and plan for extra time when using Siloam Bridge.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
