Upcoming lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North in the City of Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa.

When: August 24 to September 8. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Simcoe Street North, from 125 metres north of Northern Dancer Drive to Northern Dancer Drive, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: To safely construct an entrance in support of new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
