Upcoming lane restrictions on Zephyr Road in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Zephyr Road (Regional Road 13) in the Township of Uxbridge.  

When: June 1 to July 31. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule. 

Where: Lane restrictions will be in place on Zephyr Road from 30 metres east of Concession Road 4 to 350 metres west of Concession 5, and from 350 metres west of Concession Road 6 to 30 metres west of Concession Road 7 in Uxbridge.  

Why: To safely rehabilitate the road.   

Note: Zephyr Road has other ongoing road and bridge works between Concession Road 3 and Concession Road 7 (Regional Road 1). Drivers should expect delays and plan for extra time when using Zephyr Road. 

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
