Upcoming temporary road closure on Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is advising residents of an upcoming temporary road closure on Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) in the Municipality of Clarington.

When: November 4 at 8 p.m. to November 5 at 5 a.m. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Bowmanville Avenue will be temporarily closed from Byers Road to Concession Road 10 in Clarington.

Why: This work is the part of the construction to replace the Burketon Station bridge over the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railway.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
