The Region of Durham has developed a procedure when dealing with Significant Weather Events.
When Environment Canada warns us about severe weather that could be dangerous for people using our roads and on-road bike lanes, we can declare a Significant Weather Event. Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is accepting applications for the Thriving Communities Fund, which supports local non-profit organizations to help prevent and/or reduce poverty for Durham residents.
