Notice of the passing of a By-law to amend By-law #39-2022, a by-law regarding development charges for transit services
Take notice that the Council of The Regional Municipality of Durham passed By-law No. 2025-027, being a By-law to amend By-law No. 39-2022, a by-law regarding development charges for transit services, on the 25th day of June, 2025 pursuant to Section 19 of the Development Charges Act, 1997(“Act”);
And take notice that By-law No. 2025-027 amends By-law No. 39-2022 as follows:

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Health Department has issued a Blue-Green Algae Advisory for the eastern shore of Lake Scugog near William’s Point Rd in Caesarea, following test results from a water sample collected on July 9 by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Taunton Road (Regional Road 4) in the Municipality of Clarington.
When: Week of July 28 to December. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: Lane restrictions will be in place on Taunton Road, from east of Townline Road to west of Enfield Road (Regional Road 34), in Clarington.

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham reminds residents that the Region does not sell or endorse water filters or water treatment equipment, after being contacted by residents inquiring about door-to-door salespersons who want to test the water or install water filtering systems.
