Whitby, Ontario – Have your say during the virtual Public Information Centres (PICs). The Regional Municipality of Durham invites the public to share their questions or comments on the preliminary design for multi-use paths on Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) in the City of Pickering and Westney Road (Regional Road 31) in the Town of Ajax.

Lane closure on Bowmanville Avenue in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a lane closure on Bowmanville Avenue in the Municipality of Clarington.
When: March 17 to December 2025. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: Bowmanville Avenue will be reduced to a single lane of traffic between 10th Concession and Boundary Road, in Clarington.
Why: To safely replace the Burketon Station bridge over the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railway.

Drivers are reminded to come to a complete stop at stop signs and make sure the road and sidewalk is clear in both directions before proceeding.
Drivers must be aware of people crossing the street as well as the traffic on the road.
