Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is phasing the start of previously announced left-turn restrictions at the intersection of Harmony Road South (Regional Road 33) and Tennyson Avenue in the City of Oshawa.
Where: The northbound left-turn from Harmony Road South onto Tennyson Avenue and the eastbound left-turn from Tennyson Avenue onto Harmony Road South in Oshawa.

Due to the inclement weather, some Regional facilities and services are experiencing disruptions, including:
- Residential waste collection operations are ongoing, but curbside collections are delayed today. Residents should keep their materials at the curb until collected. Update: Residents in Pickering, Ajax, Clarington, Brock, Uxbridge and Scugog with scheduled Christmas tree collection today (Friday), please note, there will be no tree collection on Friday, January 16. Due to the inclement weather, some Regional facilities and services are either closed or experiencing disruptions, including:
- The Ontario Works office in Uxbridge (2 Campbell Drive, Unit 301/305) is closed today.
- All Waste Management Facilities and the Household Special Waste Depot are closed for today. This includes the Sales Office at the Brock Waste Management Facility (C22480 Brock Sideroad #17).
