Whitby, Ontario – Durham Regional Council has approved the 2019 Regional Business Plans and Budgets for property-tax-supported purposes.
The 2019 Business Plans and Budgets, totalling approximately $1.23 billion, focus on increasing front-line services in the community. They will also continue to provide for essential services and investment in needed capital infrastructure for the Region’s approximately 685,500 residents.

Seasonal leaf and yard waste collection resumes

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents that leaf and yard waste collection is starting back up in the townships of Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge, the City of Pickering, the Town of Ajax and the Municipality of Clarington.
