Business Count returns to Durham Region

Whitby, Ontario – As part of an annual Regional project to gather employment statistics and build a stronger local economy, businesses in Durham Region should expect a knock on their door this spring/summer. The Regional Municipality of Durham, Planning and Economic Development Department, is conducting its eighth Business Count to gather statistics from local businesses about their operations.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region’s Works Department has teamed up with the City of Pickering and the Town of Whitby to offer free compost to residents at special events in Pickering and Whitby on May 11.
When: Saturday, May 11, from 8 a.m. to noon (rain or shine).

Whitby, Ontario – Residents and businesses are advised that the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing public meeting, related to the provincial Regional Government Review, will now be held from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. in Council Chambers.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region’s Works Department has teamed up with the City of Oshawa to offer free compost to residents on May 4.
When: Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to noon (rain or shine).
