Public Information Centre being held for the expansion of the Water Street Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station in Scugog

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department is holding a Public Information Centre (PIC) for the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) of a potential expansion of the Water Street Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station (SSPS) in the Township of Scugog.

When: Tuesday, June 4, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Blue box recycling collection schedule changes in Oshawa and Whitby due to Victoria Day

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to remind Oshawa and Whitby residents of changes to scheduled curbside blue box collection due to Victoria Day.

When: May 20 to 25.

Where: Residents in the City of Oshawa and the Town of Whitby only, will temporarily have their blue box collection moved to the next day.

Road closures on Toronto Street, Rudell Road and Sunset Boulevard in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of road closures on Toronto Street, Rudell Road and Sunset Boulevard in the Municipality of Clarington.

When:

• Toronto Street will be closed from May 27 until the end of the year.
• Rudell Road and Sunset Boulevard will be closed intermittently for extensionended periods of time, allowing local traffic only.
