Line painting season in Durham Region

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that roadway line painting is now underway, and drivers should exercise caution when approaching these vehicles.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents and businesses that the underground repairs of the trunk sanitary sewer in Lord Elgin Park in the Town of Ajax are complete. The by-pass pumps have been decommissioned and are currently being prepared for removal. The sanitary sewer system in this area is back to normal operation.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department, invites residents to drop off Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), free of charge, at a special upcoming collection event.
When: Saturday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Thornton Road (Regional Road 52), from north of King Street to Adelaide Avenue, in Oshawa.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department will be holding a Public Information Centre (PIC) on the Port Perry Water Supply Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study in the Township of Scugog.
