National Public Works Week events on May 24!

Durham Region residents are invited to take part in our free, fun-filled community events on Saturday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and discover the many services provided by the Works Department as we celebrate National Public Works Week (NPWW).

Where:

• Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) in Pickering
• Durham York Energy Centre (DYEC) in Courtice

Get in on the action! Touch-a-Truck and watch exciting equipment demonstrations at DYEC, or try out our simulator at Duffin Creek WPCP. It's a hands-on experience you don't want to miss! Tours of both facilities will also take place to showcase operations.
