Whitby, Ontario – Durham Regional Council has proclaimed October 10 as Imagine a Day Without Water. The campaign is part of a nationwide day of education and advocacy to recognize the true value of water. Organized by The Value of Water Coalition, the campaign aims to raise awareness about the challenges we face when our water infrastructure fails, and to highlight the innovative solutions to these challenges that are being implemented in communities nationwide.

Whitby, Ontario – Last week, more than 300 Durham high school students attended the Durham Farm Connections agri-science education day, held at Clarington Central Secondary School.
The agriculture education program is designed to align with curriculum requirements for Grade 9 and 10 science, Grade 11 biology and environmental science, and Grade 12 biology.
