Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of two temporary road closures on Hibbard Drive and Rossland Road West due to ongoing construction at Harwood Avenue North, from Kerrison Drive West to Rossland Road West, in the Town of Ajax.
When: Hibbard Drive will be closed from July 6 to 7. Rossland Road West will be closed on July 9. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a temporary road closure on Fishlock Street due to ongoing construction at Harwood Avenue North, from Kerrison Drive West to Rossland Road West, in the Town of Ajax.
When: June 24 to 25. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Fishlock Street, at Harwood Avenue North, in the Town of Ajax.
Why: To safely construct a new watermain.

Drive safely and slow down in construction zones

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is reminding drivers to slow down and proceed with caution through construction zones or areas where workers are present.
All construction zones or areas marked for roadside work in Durham Region are blocked off by pylons, measured to meet provincial standards. Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Taunton Road East (Regional Road 4) in the City of Oshawa.
When: Day and night from June 22 to 26. Unfavourable weather may influence the work schedule.
Where: Taunton Road East from Harmony Road North (Regional Road 33) to 150 metres west of Harmony Road North, in Oshawa.
