New electric vehicle chargers coming to Durham

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is collaborating with local area municipalities and utilities to create a community-wide network of electric vehicle (EV) chargers to accelerate our transition to a clean energy economy. Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents that the Beaver River Bridge in Beaverton will be temporarily closed to traffic for repairs.

When: Starting November 9 for approximately two to three months. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
