Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Winchester Road West (Regional Road 3) in the City of Oshawa.
When: December 7 to December 23. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Winchester Road West, from Simcoe Street North to 250 metres west of Simcoe Street North, in Oshawa.

Whitby, Ontario – Earlier today—as part of the We’re on This Ride Together awareness campaign and in an effort to continue to encourage all passengers to wear a mask while using public transit—Durham Region Transit (DRT) unveiled its huge mask decal; to be displayed on three buses within its fleet.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is reminding residents that seasonal leaf and yard waste collection is ending December 11 and will resume in the spring of 2021.
When: The last curbside collection for seasonal leaf and yard waste will take place the week of December 7.

Whitby, Ontario – In support of Durham Vision Zero, the Regional Municipality of Durham would like to remind drivers, pedestrians and cyclists to be vigilant and safe on the road as darkness comes earlier.
With the increase of residents staying home amid COVID-19, there are more pedestrians and cyclists out in the community. It’s also getting darker earlier during the prime hours for people to take a walk or cycle.
